Gastroparesis
July 10, 2013

Since founding the Cheryl Aaron Memorial Fund last March, Lonnie has become super involved in advocating, raising awareness, and funding research for gastroparesis. So it only made sense that he would take part in the 2013 IFFGD Advocacy Day in Washington, DC. Signing up was not without uncertainties however, as Lonnie said, “I wasn’t sure what to expect from my trip to Washington DC. This is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this. It was an opportunity to meet people that are advocates for Functional Gastrointestinal and Motility Disorders and to be an advocate myself.”

You can find out how Lonnie’s first Advocacy Day went on his website.
