Jyoti N. Sengupta, PhD

Dr. Sengupta is the recipient of the IFFGD 2003 Research Award for Senior Investigator, Basic Science. Dr. Sengupta’s research interests include investigating the pathophysiology of functional bowel disorders. He is studying sensory neurons involved in gastrointestinal (GI) pain, while exploring new pharmacologic agents.
