Dr. Borko Nojkov is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA. Dr. Nojkov completed medical school at Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia and extended his training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the William Beaumont Hospital/Oakland University School of Medicine in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Nojkov’s clinical practice and research are primarily focused on patients with disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBI). He is actively engaged in University of Michigan’s GI Physiology Laboratory and the Michigan Bowel Control Program. He has completed research describing important aspects of the epidemiology, pathogenesis, and diagnosis of common DGBI. Dr. Nojkov has received awards, presented his research at the major national conferences, and published his work in many of the leading gastroenterology journals. Dr. Nojkov is currently focused to further extend his clinical and research efforts with an overall aim to visibly improve clinical outcomes in patients with DGBI.
