Sandy’s Personal Story-IBS-C, Gastroparesis, Acid Reflux
I was shopping with my grandson and all of a sudden nausea swept over me. I told Will I had to go home. I felt better when I got home. Then it started up again the next day. It’s now almost 3 months later I have been diagnosed with acid reflux, IBS-c, and my most recent diagnosis gastroparesis. I have struggled for months, in emergency 3 times, urgent care twice, two gastro specialists, my primary care doctor many visits and calls, a litany of tests, and am still struggling. I’ve taken so many different medicines which of only two work. I had to have a nutritionist plan the foods I eat because each of my diseases have different foods. My mental health was in the toilet. The doctor I am going to see tomorrow has put me off for a month. I am hoping I can get some answers. I have great days and terrible days. I am not going to give up because I have too much to live for. If anyone has gastroparesis please let me know if there was anything that works for you. Thanks for listening.
