Linda’s Personal Story: Gastroparesis
My story started about 1 month after my father died 5 years ago. First they told me I was just grieving but after a month they admitted to the hospital for tests. They couldn’t figure it out, but there was 1 Dr. reminded me of an old country Dr. wanted to do one more test. He explained the test and that it is usually negative. So I did the test and it showed after 4 hours the egg had not moved. I ended up having 2 jtubes that made things worse and a gastric bypass. The surgeon told me my GP was so bad there was still GP in the pouch he left. I have other medical problems that I have special diets for which I have to try to stick to also. I am going crazy trying to go by them which is hard because they contradict each other
