What I want people to know is, the care for gastroparesis is severely lacking. It took almost two years of aggressive gastroparesis symptoms to finally be diagnosed. And the impact on my mental health was the most part. I felt gaslit by doctors. I finally found someone who helped me figure it out. With my gastroparesis diagnosis in hand I was able to find an appropriate specialist in this specific and rare condition.
