IFFGD Needs Your Help

Over the coming weeks, IFFGD is gathering stories from our patient community. Our goal is to show representatives the importance of removing barriers that restrict patient access to health care. Even if you do not register for this event, you can still help by providing your own personal journey of how living with a chronic GI disorder has impacted your life. We will deliver these letters to the Congressional Representatives for your area on Monday, October 3rd.
If you are interested in sharing your story, click the button below to get started. We are asking that all stories be submitted no later than Monday, September 26, 2022.
Together, we can make the voice of the digestive health community heard and encourage Congress to prioritize actions that will lead to greater awareness and the development of new treatment options and cures

IFFGD'S Current Surveys

COVIDs Impact on GI

With the help of patients, caregivers, and our Industry Council, IFFGD has created a survey to gain insight into the impact COVID-19 and the pandemic has had on the Gastrointestinal (GI) Illness population. We hope this will assist healthcare providers, law makers and industry partners on the future care of patients.

*Approximate time to take this survey is 7 minutes

Refractory Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (rGERD)

IFFGD has been working with the International Working Group for the Classification of Oesophagitis (IWGCO) to create a survey to better understand the illness experience of those with Refractory Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (rGERD). Refractory Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (rGERD) is very common and may affect up to 40% of people who use a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) once daily.  Approximate time to take this survey is 6 minutes

IFFGD’s 2022 Virtual Education and Advocacy Event

IFFGD’s 2022 Virtual Education and Advocacy Event is a free event where we will educate the community about access to healthcare and treatment and how to best advocate for yourself in the medical field. Due to COVID-19 protocols, the event will be fully virtual.

You will be able to submit your personal stories using the button below that will be hand delivered by IFFGD staff to Congressional Representatives on the Hill on October 3rd.  The educational sessions will be available as a YouTube Premiere on October 15.
