This episode is hosted by IFFGD’s Hayley McCorkle and features our 2014 Grant Winner Dr. Braden Kuo. Dr. Braden Kuo works as a neurogastroenterologist at Massachusetts General Hospital in GI division at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kuo specializes in disorders of gastrointestinal motility and neurogastroenterology. His clinical practice is devoted to treating patients with gastrointestinal (GI) motility disorders and disorders of brain-gut interaction.

His work in functional GI and motility has focused on brain-gut interactions using functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for gut sensations such as nausea, pain, and feelings of fullness (satiation). He is also exploring the use of technologies to non-invasively measure gut transit and motility in health and diseases such as gastroparesisfunctional dyspepsia, and constipation.
