Kim’s Personal Story: Incontinence and Constipation
I’m so happy to finally find a forum where I can talk about this.
I’ve suffered with poo problems all my life. What started as a bout of withholding as a child quickly became chronic constipation. I’ve been to hospital multiple times to be dis impacted, be it enemas, suppositories, laxatives or digital dis impaction. I’m sick of it. I’ve seen doctors, specialist, students and alternative medicine providers to try and fix this. I live in a constant state of pain, my belly is always distended and rock hard full of poo. As a child my parents would rub my belly to try to get me to poo and would eventually take me to hospital to be cleaned out. My family would always remark on the size and sounds of my belly. I was on so many laxatives and suppositories that I was having accidents and diarrhoea constantly. And the impacted poo would put pressure on my bladder causing accidents too. Nowadays I give myself enemas and take laxatives to try to keep things moving. It’s tough out here.
