Hello all! I was diagnosed with GERD in February 2020. My symptoms started around October 2019, leading to an urgent care visit after Christmas due to severe nausea. This is one thing you don't see much, as nausea usually isn't one of the prominent symptoms. I almost never get heartburn or actual acid reflux (very grateful for that!). That's only due to a careful diet and medications however, a

April 1, 2020 Irritable Bowel Syndrome

I had a tentative diagnosis of IBS by way of elimination.  It started with a diagnosis of Enteropathogenic E. Coli and a prescription of ciprofloxacin to cure it.  The antibiotics made it better, but the symptoms of loose stools didn't go away.  The next trip to the doctor (an infectious diseases specialist this time) resulted in a diagnosis of Enteroaggregative E. I had GERD, dysmotility and dysphagia (difficulty swallowing). This was relieved by having my root canal teeth taken out. Each root canal tooth has about 5 kn of tubules which can be infected. The tubules are a safe haven for disease because the blood supply can't get in to "clean" the area. My son recommended a youtube video called "voltage is healing" which helped me.
