Tina’s Personal Story: Gastroparesis
I am recently diagnosed and it has been a long road tryi to figure out what was wrong with me. My old PCP keep insisting that nothing was wrong and all in my head but yet wouldn’t mind prescribing nausea meds and anti diarrhea meds. So I finally switched to a new PCP last month and she immediately knew what was wrong and set me up with a gastroenterologist who ordered my stomach studies. Now that I have a diagnosis I fell somewhat relieved but yet still worry as I see many have a hard time controlling their symptoms. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
