AHP can cause a wide range of symptoms, and it is different for each patient. Those with AHP can experience gastrointestinal, neurologic, psychiatric, cardiovascular, or skin symptoms. The most common symptom is abdominal pain, which can be very severe and felt throughout the belly. The pain can also last for many hours.
